I would like to begin by telling you a little about myself.
To begin with, I was born in China. Adopted as a baby by a couple from Tennessee. I have grown up here ever since. I always wanted a baby sister, and when I was four I finally got my wish. My parents and I left the comfort of Tennessee and went back to China to adopt my sister. We named her Emily.
Since then she and I have grown together, learned together, and have made each other smile. Growing up I never really thought of myself as different. I lived with a white family, surrounded by white friends, and we all spoke English. But as I have come to grow older, I guess I have been more curious of where Anna Wyer came from.
I challenge you to search and find your true self throughout your life.
